Republic Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ron Peabody has announced his resignation. Peabody is leaving the Chamber to pursue other opportunities with his wife, Sandy, and their business, Peabody’s Farm and the Guesthouse event design and rentals. He has agreed to stay on as director until the end of the year or until the board hires a replacement.
The chamber wishes Ron and Sandy the best of luck and hope they will continue to be part of the Chamber.
A statement from Ron:
“It has been such an honor to serve the Republic business community as the Chamber Director. I would like to thank everyone in the chamber who has worked so hard to build this chamber into what it is today! As it is mentioned above, I will continue to work as the director until the board finds a suitable replacement and a proper turn over has been given. I am so excited to be able to work full time with Sandy and our family business. We will continue to be involved with the Chamber as we truly believe in the benefits a strong chamber provides to a small business.”
The Chamber board will be accepting resumes for the Executive Director position until November 11th at 5:00pm. Applicants may email resumes to email@example.com or send mail to our office:
