    Event Description:
Active shootings in America continue to dominate the news. This session will address those questions and many others. This session was developed to help leaders evolve policies and practices to this subject. The topics will include how we have evolved from a “huddle and hope” philosophy to a more practical and nationally adopted Run, Hide, Fight options-based response to a violent attack. Attendees will obtain insight into who an active shooter might be, how we respond during emergencies, methods to prepare and survive a tragedy in the workplace, and how to be prepared for ANY emergency, not just active shooters. Participants will walk away from this presentation with a confidence and awareness that CAN help save lives… including their own.
    • What should we do as an organization?
